We took a flying trip to Lehi Sunday through Tuesday to help our daughter Marie. Their littlest, Kael, has had trouble eating since he was born. He aspirates into his lungs as he eats and has bad reflux. It makes him miserable, screaming alot and not gaining weight as he should. He spent a few days in the hospital where they decided to put a feeding tube into his small intestine. He came home Monday night and immediately pulled it out, so back they went to have it reinserted. I can't believe those treating him can't figure out the problem. I think we will go back up this weekend if things continue as is. She has 3 other boys who need care also. Her sweet little sister Angie, who has a little one and is expecting the second, has been going down to help also. In the mean time, Derek's wife is expecting any day and we have been busy helping them move AND helping Janice's parents tear the flooring out of their townhome for remodeling. We have also been without a 2nd counselor in the bishopric for about a month, but that has been solved much to my delight. We just keep moving on.

Bicycle Crash
I have no pictures, but I was hit by a pickup truck while riding my bicycle to work on Tuesday, August 19th. I was entering a cross walk on a green light when the guy decided to turn right on a red light. I hit my brakes, the back tire started to lift, and I think he hit my left handle bar. This spun the right handle bar into my right ribs and I went over the top of the bike, did a shoulder roll, knocked my head a little (no helmet - you can scold me later) and hopped up with the wind knocked out of me. The driver and another couple stopped, helped me walk around a little, then I put the chain back on my bike and rode it home. I was fortunate. I have had some vertigo since then, but it seems to be resolving with time. My bike was almost totally unharmed.
