Scottsbluf National Monument

We went to the monument today and took the long hike to the top. It provided many wonderful views and was fun to walk out in the sun. It also was warm, but not hot. Here are a few photos of the adventure.

Agate Fossil Beds

We took a little trip to Agate Fossil Beds National Monument today. It was pretty fun. Here are a few pictures. The corkscrew structure is a fossilized burrow of an ancient prairie dog like creature.

While in Kansas

We visited the graves of my parents, grandparents, and other relatives on Memorial Day. A very good thing to do.

Visit with Cousins

While in Texas, Janice and I got to visit with 3 of my cousins that I haven't seen for probably 40 years. Thanks Marsha, Dee-Dee, and Steve. It was very enjoyable.

We went to Texas (via Scottsbluff and Wichita) and had a great time with Heather's family. Derek's family was also there. Here's a few photos.

Family History Trip

Gary and I went to New England to research our early American ancestors. We were in 7 states - New York, Connecticutt, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine. It was fun and very interesting.

Only about a month left of classes then two weeks of clinicals and I am finished (as long as I get at least 80% on the remaining exams). It has been, let's say, interesting.
