We just threw away all the binkies at our "big boy party" at the Bowles Sunday dinner. I read him a story that I wrote about not needed binkies anymore. Then we tossed them. Everyone clapped and cheered for Ollie and then he got to eat cake. He actually handled it very well and went to sleep tonight with just a whimper or two. I'm so proud of my big boy!
Yea, he is big. And you're right, the longer I'm a parent and the more kids I have, the more I appreciate and understand my parents. Thanks for putting up with us!

The black bean soup turned out delicious! We have some left over. You should come up just to eat it.
